Amnesia Collection Trophies
It was June 2009 and we were running out of money. We’d spent nearly two years making a game called Lux Tenebras.
Our idea was to make a Super Mario version of a horror game; something that could be enjoyed in bite-sized chunks, was replayable, and mostly relied on easily repeatable gameplay mechanics. The problem was, this game wasn’t working out. Despite a lot of time and effort, it never really clicked. A publishing deal had recently evaporated, leaving our funds basically drained. We had at most a month left in our budget, and while we had a lot of assets, we didn’t have a working game. It felt like the company was on the verge of going bankrupt, and I recall starting on my CV. That video was supposed to show how scary the game is but instead it just shows how bad the ppl playing it are.
Ive never acted like that playing a game. Jump scares, sure those get me all the time. I jump then after that initial reaction I either kill what made me jump or if killing isnt an option. I just run, But Im not screaming or acting like a 3 year old whos never played a video game before. I could 100% understand someone having that reaction in VR because at least that feels real, with the immersion you get from actually being able to look around he whole room (as the kitchen demo shows), but on a game youre playing on a monitor/tv with zero immersion? I can understand ppl that close/cover their eyes in a scary movie during screens of intense gore, because some ppls stomach cant handle that.
But actually screaming? They probably will make one at a later date if it sells well digitally. Also you only bother with consoles ’cause of physical releases? That’s silly if you ask me:/ I “bother with consoles” because I can’t stand upgrading my pc every time just to make newer games run properly and keep checking system requirements to see if a game will run fine on my pc.
Also I prefer to have all this awesome high-budget AAA exclusives on consoles (uncharted 4, bloodborne, until dawn, the last guardian, detroit become human, horizon, nioh, etc) rather than having indie low-budget stuff on pc (simulator games, fnaf -its getting a console remake though-, undertale, etc). I didn’t say that physical media is the “only” reason I bother with consoles. I said it was “one” of the only reasons. The Playstation exclusives are definitely nice. Naughty Dog is my favorite developer, and I couldn’t imagine not being able to play their titles. Same thing goes for Insomniac and Guerilla.” I can’t stand upgrading my pc every time just to make newer games run properly”I’ve been using the same i5-4460 and GTX 760 for over 2 years now, and I’ve never had trouble getting any game to play smoothly at 60fps. I’m sure my gaming PC will hold-up for at least a few more years too (especially it’s i5).
Full list of all 23 Amnesia: Collection trophies - 6 bronze, 8 silver, 8 gold and 1 platinum. It takes around 15-20 hours to unlock all of the trophies in the base game on PlayStation 4. The base game contains 22 trophies, and there is 1 DLC packs containing 1 trophies.
Having to constantly upgrade a gaming PC is just a myth. Sure, lots of people do it every couple years, but most of em are diehard enthusiasts that need to constantly have the best of the best. The majority of PC gamers stick with the same build for years and years.
I’m so psyched for this. I bought Amnesia The Deal Decent for PC a few years back but halfway through, my PC died. I never got around to getting another PC because of the evolution of smart phones, I didn’t really need it. Now I get to finish what I started; a top 5 horror game. Not only do I get to replay/finish the first one, I get to experience the others now too.
I love you guys so much. Maybe some day you could bring Penumbra to PS4/Vita so I can try those out. Will certainly be purchasing this the second it’s available. Thank you so much.
