Outlander has been a surprise addition to Netflix in the United States in 2019. If you’re wondering when future seasons of Outlander is coming to Netflix, we’ll be taking you through its release schedule so far and when we can expect season 4, 5 and 6 on Neflix.

You’re probably familiar with Outlander given you’re on this page but if you’re not, here’s a quick intro. The series that airs on Starz is a romantic fantasy series that sees a relationship span out across two time periods.

If you’re wondering why Netflix has managed to get hold of the Starz series, especially since most Starz content is set to leave Netflix (including Spartacus in January 2020, fyi) it’s because Starz doesn’t own the series. Instead, Netflix has licensed the show from Sony TV.

Now let’s take a look into season 4.

Let’s take a look at how Outlander has released on Netflix so far:

• Seasons 1 & 2 of Outlander first arrived on Netflix on May 27th, 2019.
• Season 3 of Outlander then appeared on Netflix just in time for Christmas 2019 on December 10th, 2019.

The fourth season aired in late 2018 and wrapped up in January of 2019.

When will season 4 of Outlander be on Netflix?

No official release schedule has been released by Netflix regarding the future status of Outlander on Netflix. However, we can make a couple of predictions as to when it will be made available.

Speed Racer: The Videogame. Speed Racer: The Videogame is a racing video game developed by Sidhe Interactive for the PlayStation 2 and Wii consoles, by Virtuos for the Nintendo DS and by Glu Mobile for mobile phones; and published by Warner Bros. Games and Glu Mobile. It is a tie-in to the 2008 film of the same name. Speed racer the video game.

Prediction 1)

If the series is only up for licensing on Netflix two years after the premiere date (that’s what happened with season 3), we may not see season 4 of Outlander on Netflix until January 2020.

Prediction 2)

Netflix has gotten a new season added around 6 months after the first two arrived. If it’s renewing in six month periods, it won’t be until May/June 2020 until season 4 hits.

Many regions of Netflix already stream the fourth season of Outlander. These regions include Australia, Canada, most of mainland Europe (excluding the UK), and Asia.

In the meantime, we strongly recommend giving Virgin River a watch as well as some of the other period dramas available on Netflix.

Of course, if you can’t wait, you can still stream Outlander on the Starz application or through their channel add-on through Amazon Prime.
