Big Mouth is created by Kamdor from a blue purse to distract the Overdrive Rangers while Miratrix went after the Hou-Ou Bird but is taken down by the Drill Blaster. He is grown giant by Kamdor but is destroyed by the DriveMax Megazord Drill & Crane Formation. Camera Monster.

The conflict of this story started eons ago when a pair of brothers named Moltor and Flurious tried to steal an enchanted crown called the Corona Aurora. Day of the tentacle remastered guide. An ancient hero called the Sentinel Knight caught them, had Moltor turned into a being with power over fire and Flurious into a being with power over ice (which predictably caused many fans to compare the brothers to Snow Miser and Heat Miser from The Year without a Santa Claus), and had each brother banished to a planet themed after the element they had power over. This show also had an episode where the Rangers teamed up with previous Rangers, but differed from the team-up episodes of previous shows by having the current Rangers work with a team of Rangers from different eras rather than the entire team from the preceding show. The visiting Rangers were Adam Park (the second Black Mighty Morphin' Ranger), Tori Hanson (the Blue Wind Ranger), Kira Ford (the Yellow Dino Ranger), Bridge Carson (who started out as the Green SPD Ranger, got promoted to Blue SPD Ranger at the end of that show, and is now apparently Red SPD Ranger), and Xander Bly (the Green Mystic Ranger).

In this two-part episode, titled 'Once a Ranger', all of the Operation Overdrive villains are united together by a new villain named Thrax, whose backstory is that he is the son of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa and that he was sealed away by the Sentinel Knight for some time before eventually getting free, even paraphrasing his mother's classic line 'After 10,00 years, I'm free' when she was freed from her space dumpster prison. Thrax also manages to make the Overdrive Rangers temporarily disband because he disconnected them from the Morphing Grid and they felt useless with the veteran Rangers around.
